Old rouge tins

Dug these 2 old rouge tins some time back. Has anyone dug any others here ?
The Pum-kin one feels heavy & I never have opened it -probably has rouge in it yet. Any idea on the ages of these ? Both are 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Steve in so az

I have dug many of them. Sometimes they are just the lid, or the bottom, but sometimes they are all there. I always open them as carefully as I can to see if any old coins are inside. 1930's - 50's. some are older.

Nice finds, Steve, and YES, since it is heavy the rouge tin could have some older coins in it! Ladies used to carry their spare change in these and the larger powder ones also for they were always handy in their purses! Never know?? Good Luck and God Bless! Betty

Never dug any of those. Nice find.

Nice tins Steve. I dug one out of the back yard a month ago. Posted a picture here about the same time. Mine did not have any writing on it, was made of copper it appears, but did have the mirror still inside. Opened up with no problem.

Yeah, I thought mine had coins inside, as when I shook it something rattled. It was the loose mirror. Oh well.
