Older coin Park.

Have been detecting in a small park that has yielded pennies in the 40s , 50s , and 60s.
Still no silver though must have had better pockets or less coinage in those years.
Yesterday pull out a 1947 nickel in minty condition.
Two variety for that year and I got the one with the dot behind the date.
Ciculated lower variety starts at $22 and uncirculated caps of at $ 2200.
The one without the dot starts .25 cents to $250 in the same conditions.
Sorry not a photo poster.

Congratulations, Joel! That's a real treat of a find!!

It's always nice to find a coin from a rare variety. I ordered one of those 25 cent dinosaur glow in the dark coins. It should get here this week.

There's gotta be silver there Joel .. keep going back !:detecting:
