Older T2 and small coil

I was told that the 4 3/4 white coil will work on an older T2 It does not have any up grades that I know of. I bought the coil and the machine makes a constant noise and says overload. Can anyone help me? Is it a bad coil? In black magic marker it says Omega on top of the coil. What does that mean? Going to send it back if I don't get any help. Thanks

Search the posts. I remember reading about a small coil doing the same to another poster here.

omega is another model of teknetics. i'm not sure if the coils work on both.

That is quite a difference in khz so I'm sure the coil you have is not compatible with the T2.

Thanks every one that helps a lot. You guys are great. Now if they will take it back and give me one that does work. I will keep looking for one if they don't have one.
