I'm pumped !! With the help from some other THrs it was determined that what I found today was a 10 Centimes France coin minted between 1850-1860. Found on a vacant lot where once was a house built from the 20"s to the 30"s. What its doing here in Dallas , who knows but its well worn. Way to go AT Pro !!

Nice find, PKB!

Very memorable find, congrats!

The wear shows it circulated for a lot of years. That tells me it spent a lot of time where it was being exchanged regularly i.e. France. I wouldn't be surprised if that coin was dropped around when the house was built.

How did it get to Dallas? Maybe a WW1 vet brought it back home from overseas?

If only that coin could talk...

Sweet coin! Can't say that I've ever found one of those, nice job
