Oldest Settlement in Nebraska...problems

I made it out today to the oldest settlement in Nebraska. It was the site of a trading post circa 1864 right off the Missouri. When I arrived, I noticed big chunks of concrete all over the site! As I started swinging, I had high VDI (83-97) hits with every pass. I dug the first three targets...trash aluminum cans, twisted metal, etc.! The city apparently decided to dump construction trash and other crap on top of the site. What a let down...they should be held accountable for trashing up a historical area. I spent most of the day over there checking the surrounding areas...lots of deep targets, but the ground is still too hard to dig much deeper than 3-4" or so.

Though this place is not as significant I feel the same way about this place. I want to go check this and bring a detector out but it looks like a trash nightmare...take a look
