Picked theseup on Sat. at a very old university I had permission to hunt only this weekend before students come back. Hunting is allowed there with permission so I had to look for places no one would hunt. First was the 1887 Seated Liberty. 2" in soil that had not been disturbed behind a new addition to a 1886 building. Then after lunch I went up the grass between the sidewalk and curb that ran infrt of the security office. I guess no one had hunted there before as I got a 44 Merc, 44 Quarter and 8 of my 10 wheats. I called my two hunting buddies that were with me but on other side of campus and they picked up 2 Walking Liberty Halfs, 1 Merc, 1 Rosie, 2 George Washingtons and a Buffalo hunting the same type of strip across street. Both of the WLHalfs looked like they had just left the bank. Unbelieveable condition. I found a 46 Rosie in the pine needles on other side of sidewalk(not in pics). I guess no one was wanting to hunt infrt of Police station. I spent more time than I really wanted talking to 3 different officers and they were great and full of info. Also got to talk to Grds Manager. After looking at our holes he also sai d he was ok with us and welcome anytime school is out. The Police station also was a ice cream shop in the fifties with on street parking. I also got a spoon that is stamped with the university name but is says college instead of university. They had a name change in the eighties so it could have soom age. It is plated blue and bent on the handle so the color and crome then base are flaked and exposed. I used the 11" Pro which I almost use exclusively even in trashy sites I just slow down and kep the coil on the ground. My friends used E-Trac with Pro coil also and we all agree, if its been hunted by a minelab only the trash is left.

Sweet finds, congratulations. I went out on Saturday and yesterday for about an hour each day. Found several coins but nothing like your. My oldest were two or three wheats. It has gotten a little to cold here in VA to stay out very long at a time. Today the high is suppose to be 32
