Couple questions please answer them all and honestly.
What do you get air testing for depth with a clad dime?
What clad have you dug and at what depth?
Pro's and con's of this machine.
Thanks

I cant remember the last time I've dug in thin air, but I get 8" at least on a clad dime with an 11"dd
I've dug quite a bit of clad and a couple older coins at 6-8 inches. All were solid on the vdi.

Can't help you on the dime question. Generally, it's fairly typical for depth of any detector. There aren't many on the market that go deeper than another.
It's mostly positives for the Omega. Well laid out, love the modulated tones, fast recovery speed, the intensity meter is helpful eta. The only real down side that really do need to be addressed, is the lack of a volume control and the screen is too flimsy. They scratch too easily. I've put clear contact paper over mine. I've reduced to volume by putting 4 layers of gaffer tape over the speaker; I don't like wearing headphones.
For a light weight detector, I don't think that you'll get much better target info than you will out of the Omega. That's why you get so many folks raving about it. I'm not brand loyal, mostly been a Garrett, Minelab user and did own a Whites at one stage.
Mick Evans.
