Omega 8000 what is your nickel to pulltab ratio and how do you deal with them ( pulltabs )?

on the type of site I am hunting, what use it has had in the past, and maybe how I feel about the site in general.

If I am finding an excess number of pull tabs I have the option of rejecting them, moving to another site, or just dealing with the annoyance. When it comes to finding US 5

Got to agree with Monte. I started in 1982.............and the aluminum based trash now days is astronomical in quantity compared to decades ago. Do research to find older sites or places where you think aluminum........may not be. Training yourself to be a ultra deep target hunter is real useful too.

Mine is pretty good. My answer is assuming your in heavy trash like parks and places with pull tabs, etc. I only dig the signals that stay in the 56-57 zone. Deeper ones may jump around a bit but if you are in heavy trash and only dig the targets that hit 56-57 both ways you will do good. The square tabs come in around 58. In cleaner areas I will dig the more bouncy signals. Of course you have to be in an area with nickels Try it next time and see how it goes.
