Omega 8000 with Detech 13" Ultimate coil question

I just got an Omega 8000. I also have the Detech Ultimate but still haven't tried it on the ground. I'm waiting for Spring as it's -18 Celsius or 0 Farenheit around here !
I can't comment on stability but in my air tests, I saw small gains only. 1 inch on a copper penny, silver dime and quarter. The sensitivity was maxed out at 70 but threshold was not used. I've seen videos on youtube showing bigger gains but with sens at 89. I couldn't push it on mine because of EMI. It seems much bigger than the 11" DD coil but it adds almost no weight.
