I got the 1942 Fiji Florin yesterday morning from "the site" from among some weeds and under some low hanging bushes that had grown up along some back yard fences. Where ever I could, I was pushing the 10" coil into and under the weeds and bushes thinking that maybe something might be there from back in the days that the site saw activity. The coin chimed out loud and clear, but from the angle of the coil had a 89-94 bounce. It was about 4" deep. This is the 2nd of those coins I have found on the site. The other came in 06 and my grandson now has it.
I got the 1920 Mercury dime this morning along with 3 wheats and a bit of clad and the sterling ring Wed. morning.
I was running my usual settings, 99 sen. 1 disc., d3 tones and G B of 61-63.
