Omega on the beach?

KeizerBill

New member
I want to buy an Omega and mainly use it on land but I would also like to try in on the Oregon Coast and hit the beach. How does it do in the salt water and dry sand?

Any tips for using it on the beach?

In my experience, not too bad. It is great in the dry sand and ok in the wet sand and falses when waves hit it but it is ok if in shallow water. You just have to turn down the sensitivity a little bit.
