Omega version #

Contact customer service.. you have a 30 day replacement policy.. Actually I did a side by side depth test of the ver 4 and ver 6, and I saw no difference . I did air tests on quarter dime nickel and gold ring. they were identical, also I saw no difference in noise levels...

Papa how are you liking the Omega have you had a chance to get out yet?

Unfortunately my wife just had rotator surgery and I'm having to stay home to assist her. I did a short hunt at a near by middle school (very trashy) so it was not the best place to use the 11" coil. I did dig several clad dimes and quarters at the 4 inch depth. So the following day I dug a test garden down by the woods behind my house. I buried clad dime and quarter at 6" and 8" and the ground there has a fair amount of iron surrounding the targets. The Omega hit the 6" targets (dime and quarter) very hard and with good identification. The 8" quarter no problem, The 8" dime it hit good but the Id was bouncy. Now I could hear the iron close to the target. So then I went deeper into the woods and in all metal found a spot with no iron and buried another clad quarter and dime at 9". It sounded off good and identified the quarter. I got a high tone on the dime but the id was off..

I had a version 4 and then a version 6 and didn't care for either ONLY because of its EMI issues.
