Omega With 8 Inch Concentric Coil

I really like the 8 inch round concentric coil on the Omega much better than I do the 10 inch elliptical stock coil.

It's lighter, pinpoint better and seems to get the same depth as the stock coil does.

Is there a 10 inch round concentric coil that will work on the Omega?

I will agree with you that, for many, the round 8" concentric coil is a pleasure to use.

I keep an 8" round concentric coil on a spare lower rod and, on occasion, I like to use it instead of the elliptical 5

I took the Omega out today with the 8 inch coil attached. The Omega runs a lot quieter using the 8 inch coil than it does with the 10 inch elliptical coil and the 11 inch DD coil. If I could only pick and use only one of the three coils, it would be the 8 inch coil hands down. It gets great depth and I don't have to worry about rusty pry-caps. Also being able to run a higher sensitivity setting, I can hear those high tones a lot better on deep targets, because having a higher sensitivity setting also means a higher threshold setting, since the two are control by the same knob. I found about $6.00 in change today. Some of the targets where so deep, I decided not to dig until there's some rain to soften the concrete hard ground.
