Well, here it is, GAME DAY!!! It's a tense, but exciting day here in Alabama. Most of the state has been in a frenzy since we stomped, stomped... on Chomp, Chomp (or should I say, gum, gum...). I sure hope Bama can do it! The state will pretty much shut down around 6pm this evening so people can be in front of the TV by 7:00. I CANT WAIT!!!!!! You best know that this ol gal will be front and center, and on the edge of my seat... and all over the den, I'm sure!!!!! I'm sure it will be a tough game and I hope the Tide shows up to play ball! I'm nervous as a cat! If Alabama loses, it may take me a while to recover enough to be back online! lol Steaks will go on the grill at 6:50 so the will be ready by kick off, and the baked potatoes are already washed and ready to be cooked. Garlic bread and salads on on standby too.

I heard through the gravevine that your cable or did they say satellite (I think it was both) were going down this eve about 6:50 p.m. but don't worry it will be back up and working about 11:30 p.m.

Your team is favored by 4 points. Big deal. I really don't think Texas has it this year to beat Alabama. Not criticizing their program, just trying to be honest. Texas fans, like I said I'm just trying to be honest. I don't have anything in this game but I would like to see some new blood holding up that National Champion Trophy. USC, Florida and Texas have dominated lately. Lisa, Nervous Nellies are showing that they don't have confidence in their team. Show the confidence that your actual team has. They aren't over-confident but they know for sure that they can do it even if they get behind. You can't achieve success if you can't handle adversity. Here's a game day advice for games or for life, "stay focused and play your game, let the LORD declare the outcome". Roll Tide roll.

I tuned in with Texas showing 6 points on the board and Alabama good with 24. Then the Texas TD to make it 13! Wow! What a pass! The 2nd half should be a barn burner! Looks good Lisa...here's hoping Alabama wins.

They came out a little shaky but finally got on track. They would have ended up with a win, with or without Coly McCoy. Score might have been closer, but Bama would have come out on top.

Hahahahahaha!!! That's a good one! It was a possibility with the weather we're having! But I wasn't too worried about it. We have a huge generator that can run the house and most everything in it at the same time, plus we have Direct TV (satellite). If we can have power, we can have Direct TV. Same for most of my family members even though their generators are smaller.

Thanks for planting those seeds of fear for me though..... lol!
