One And A Half Days In The Desert

Hi All,
I drove for 10 hours (round trip) back down to the desert in search of some more nuggets.
I spent about 1-1/2 days swinging the coil
Did not find anything big, but I think I paid for the gas I hope!
Found 5 nuggets, and had a good time.

Hey Steve,
It's actually not from RP, but not too far away from there.
The high on Sat. was about 90 degrees, but yes my favorite time of year is approaching.

Out of curiousity, what desert ? Just wondering what state you hunt in. I live in the desert 24/7. High desert california=Mojave
