shooter

Member
Worked some old cellar holes today but came up empty so stopped on the way home at the old CYO camp I was working last year and decided to work the Soc. field, never got must there, but today paid off 1945 S/L half dollar @ about 8"s. F75 LTD 11" coil All Metals 90 Sen., she came in at "93" with a full confid. reading, I was dumb- founded cause the area I was in was a CAN-Slaw area going off in the 70s ID range, but this 93 was to good of a sound not to dig.

Nice! Shooter! Dang! This is just ridiculous! You guys are killin me here! :clapping:

Beauty shooter, gota love those old halves Mine hit solid 93 also...hh rick in mi.
P.S...Mud your days comming

My one coin hunt yesterday was a '44 P nickel. I guess I am not in your league, but maybe in the neighborhood! WW II era coins are special in a cool way, but big silver is way cool! Good find! Not a bad days haul for a solo take. There has got to be more there- HH Shooter!

Congrats on the BIG Silver !!

Hi Pastor Tom,

I noticed you said you hunt the same beaches as I do. Are you in the local club? I was a newbie there with my wife at the last meeting. Haven't joined yet. We should meet on the beach to detect together sometime.

I live in Grover Beach.

Take care,

Gregg

Hey Gregg, I bought the scoop. See ya in the sand!

IMHO....its the nicest looking coin ever minted in the U.S. Grabbing that @ 8 inches..........is some very skilled detecting:) Especially in Slaw City.
