One cool bracelet.

Okay fellas, jb sent me some better pictures of the seated dime bracelet that Jack found Saturday at our club hunt. As you can see on the front are seated dimes and on the back there are names and initials engraved. Jack and jb think Virgil was born in 1856 hence the old coin and the first letters on the coin in front of Virgil denote Mother and Father hence the MF and they also figured that Rita is his wife and the others letters are family related of some sorts. This is a once in a lifetime find as far as I am concerned and it would be interesting to find out the actual story behind the bracelet and where it came from and just who was the person who lost it...:) I'm having trouble getting the back side of the bracelet small enough to download. Hold on!! I'll get it figured out. HH.

Man is that a cool bracelet! It would be something if somehow you could go back in records and get lucky to find who the bracelet belonged to, but that would take forever to try and run down every possible combination for the initials on the oldest dime. Could you imagine what that person felt like after losing something that was hand made by a relative or even their parents and eventually having to tell them about losing it. They must of had a few dollars since that many dimes was quite a bit of money back then. Again, AWESOME BRACELET and I hope you find your seated you are after very soon. Good Luck and HH.

That is a one of a kind bracelet for sure and to think I probably walked right over it or was darn close to it before Jack found it. That would be really neat to find out who the owner of that bracelet was, but I suppose the chances of that are slim to none. I'll keep plugging away and maybe the day will come when I find my first seated coin......:) HH.

Sure wish it was in my collection, but at least it found a nice home and I doubt that Jack has come down yet from cloud nine on such a wonderful find.....:)
