One good find

Out for quick hunt in frigid temps 14 degrees and popped this patriotic ring. It was gold plated then resized and has the word Union on it twice along with stars. The site is an old cabin circa 1870 and I had dug an eagle coat Infantry button not far from where the ring came from.
When I go hunting I always try and dig one good find.

Thanks Confetrit, I like personal items like this it is very small having been resized. Probably the wife of a soldier waiting for his return.

It is really cool to find such a personal find such as this, and then to wonder or think about all the stories that could be attached to these particular relics. Again, Well Done.
