One more ? On Safari coil

First I want a coil just slightly larger than the stock 11 inch stock coil. Does Minelab offer 12 or 13 inch coil for the Safari? I only want one 12 or 13 inches, which other coils and brands do you recommend? Thanks again

I use an NEL tornado which is just a little bigger and you will get another inch or so of depth out of it as well. Great coil. Or you can go with a 15 in. wot coil by Coil tek. Wot stands for wonderful orange thing.

Thanks, dirt lizard. I was leaning towards that coil. Is the safari stable with the tornado coil? Does the detector act just like it does with the original 11 inch dd coil? Except for a little extra deepth.

I have one for my E-Trac. Nice coil.

It's a very good stable coil. I use mine in open parks a lot with big fields. Soccer fields and football fields.

I have narrowed it down to two coils, either the 13 inch ultimate or the tornado. It will be used on a Safari. I have read on here about both. Most seem to like the tornado better. Others swear by the ultimate.
Which do you use and like better? I would like to get the one that is the deepest, lightest and the one that runs stable. That may be impossible I know. Two out of three might be ok.
