Everyone knows about the Harbor Freight pinpointer but that's not what I came to show you today. I turned a worn out tape measure into a retractable leash FOR the pinpointer. I used about 4 feet of paracord with the inner strands removed for the leash and affixed it to the end of the clockwork spring inside the tape measure. There is plenty of slack for using the pinpointer and it spools back neatly when I'm done. :)
