one room school house not hunted out

when I asked permission the owner told me other people have detected it, but I asked if I could have a shot at what they missed, they said sure!

I hunted for just over 5 hours today, did not find any indians, no silver at all, but I did not expect a lot, I managed 4 wheats, 1918, 1935, 1940, a unknown foreign coin dated 1916. A real cool palmolive token. That was worth the the time right there. A few buckles and other odds and ends.

Sweet finds pal , I like the token

see the small mashed metal thing at right side of the pic? it is actually a small childs ring, here is is after I straightened it out and shined it up a bit

that's the way to get in there, cool stuff

Congrats on the nice finds, goes4ever, and I sure like the child's ring very ornate and pretty! Ya sure doing good, so keep it up and a professional wheaties man ya'll be! :) God Bless! Betty

Love the token! Did ya figure out the foriegn coin yet?

Hey--That is a great job of hitting a site again after it had been hit. I like the French 5 franc. I have quite a few francs from when I made a port call there back in 1976. Hang on to those old foreign coins. They are all into the Euro now, and don't have individual country coinage anymore. Your post are really an inspiration to go out and hunt.
