One ways hits

I recently got an AT Pro to complement my E Trac. With the ET, one way hits are almost always trash. Is the same true for the Pro? I've found nothing but junk with one way hits, so I'm wondering if there's any point in checking them.

Most are trash but with that being said I did have a great tone one direction and 81/82 on the Vid so I thinking to myself dig or not I passed it and swung about two more feet and a little voice kept saying go back and dig it Glad I did as it turned out to be a silver Rosie on edge in the side of the whole at about 6 inches deep took me a while to find it as I only had a Vibra Probe at the time and you have to get very close to the target to locate it Why it would hit in only one direction I am not sure but I also found a small piece of rusted metal in the whole as well about the size of a nichol

I don't dig to many as most usually turn out to be a piece of rusty iron. Ever so often, though, like Barry, something about one triggers me to dig and once in a while I am pleasantly surprised. Most recently a one way turned out to be a small sterling tie bar sticking straight up and down off in the hole and co-located with a small piece of can slaw. HH jim tn

Absolutly agree with the two above. "Feel" the sounds.

When I get a one way hit I turn on iron audio to get more info.
