Hardly worth the time to post but thought I would since they are in so good of shape. Only found 2 1909 wheats and an old flat button after I went back out. One is a VDB. They were probaby 25 feet apart. Naturally neither is an S since they both are XF+. When I find it I am sure it will look like the 14d I found.

Man if I dug that and read the VDB back first it might take me a week to turn it over - great find!

If only an S. I would settle for the 09 Things are drying up around here as I've beat this area to death for 30 years. Time to head to the eastern part of the state! Keep makin those finds Ric!!

Never found a 1909 until I got my explorer. Have about a dozen slots to fill in my Wheatie book. Most are the rarer dates. Dug a few steel cents that were fused to copper ones. Nothing that could ever go in the book. I might have to break down and buy some but that is against the rules.
Can you believe I still am missing 1957 and 1958 plains. They only made a billion or so.
