went swimming with the ace today for 3 hours at a local lake found 7 coins for $3.40 a pile of junk & two gold 1 9k ring & 1 ?k cross ( unable to make out the Kt mark ) the necklace had me going till i got home & saw the plate pealing off .

Those photos didn't turn out very well i might take some more.
R-n-R i use my ACE250 wading ( the control housing don't go it the water ) it"s a great little unit for making a water detector,with, some of the guys on here have done it with great success all that target info is awesome in junky lakes & swimming holes.

yeah Mick i love finding gold jewellery but its hard to get reasonable $$$$ for it, when it comes to gold every one wants to rip you off ??? i"v try ed to sell some at a couple of places & get offered 1/4 gold value or less witch sucks so i haven't sold any yet.

Try selling them to the mint. From what I understand they pay around full value less refining cost, which is about 10%. ring them to confirm before you take any action though,just to be sure.

Nice finds. I am also jealous!! It's been below zero here most nights with seveal feet of snow on the ground. If we get any kind of thaw, I'm headed for the coast to see if I can find something on the beach.
