what did he find and is that the same man who detects and digs with a shovel on the beach? At the depth he dug to by the beep he heard he had to be finding a white-covered car or truck? Have fun winter :detecing: Hee, Hee! Ma Betty

What is trying to be said is this guy parked his car....because of the snowfall...he had to use a metal detector to find it and a coal shovel to get to it and of course it is his rusty Chevrolet they are singing about.

When I lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (8 years) the Air Base would count the snow fall. Once it reached 100 inches they quit counting and just said they broke the previous snowfall record of the year before. We drove on roads with snow banks so high you could not see the tops of cars....everyone had an orange Styrofoam ball attached to their car antenna so others could see them coming. Lots of people used snow mobiles to get to and from work.

Here in Houghton Lake, the kids in high school take snow mobiles to school...and have their own little parking area too.

Oh, thanks for the information, as Ma really didn't get it....ya know the mind goes, the older I get! ;) With snow as deep as you have said, I am sure glad I don't live way up North, even not as far up as Alaska! I am snowed in right now, my front storm door is stuck shut with the white stuff piled up on my front porch and against the garage door from the gusty winds, which cleared off some places but left it deeper in others! Saw where those in the North had to tunnel paths under or through it to get someplace else...now that is cold and lots of the icy, white frozen water! :) I hope the furnace is keeping you warm and Sherry gets home very soon and is much better, too! May God Bless! Ma Betty

Thanks Pete, the snow is here and getting deeper every day. Yes Ma, Pete is correct on the snow fall. We average close to 300 inches each year here in da U.P. Happy holidays

I drive a Fordilac!

Funny video!

Hi Da Yooper....you just keep all that heavy white stuff falling up there and do not send it into MO.....we don't need it and don't want it!  May God Bless and stay warm but keep the really cold weather up there, too! Amen! Ma Betty
