Ooooh, Shiny thing!

Got in about 20 minutes at a new site, and this was my first find before 4 pennies and a rainstorm.

I see a few tiny scratches, so no way it can be a diamond. I'm thinking CZ or glass. The gem actually looks much better in person, refracting different colors.
It looks to be in a silver setting.. The Ace registered it as a penny. It's pretty beat up, so there are no identifiable markings to speak of.

CZ's have about the same hardness as diamonds so doubt that it is a CZ.
