The two Queen Elizabeth and Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and Misc coins and bag of pennies were found in our Surprise Hunt! Pics 906 & 907 while---908....shows the bag of pennies opened...I think they were wheaties but not sure any more!

909....dirty silver found in Main Hunt & 910....same silver coins after cleaning!

911......is a pic of the nicer coins found!

I should have posted these under the pic of me, Gloria and Liz....but didn't remember until I opened my Sept 2006 picture folder and there they were!

All I can say Ma is slow and memory isn't as sharp any more because of my golden age of getting younger----soon I will be a baby again! :lol:

Man you were good Ma , you use to find alot of goodies looks like to me . And now you still get to tell us about all your old hunts. We like to here your post and they lways cheer me up . Like those old pictures Ma.

Thanks ya'll and yes, I've had my share of finding silver coins and nice surprises and prize drawings through the years of being a member of the club! I was secretary for several years, but quit and just enjoyed sitting with the others and seeing their finds and telling the stories of their hunts! Now, there were many detectorists far better than me and found so much more, but I still like what I did find and enjoyed being with other members! I wrote my finds into a notebook but only have found one after my ex left and maybe I will find the other when we were both detecting and know what I found then!

Many hunts I didn't find much and others I did.....depends on how fast a person can swing and dig 'em up! I won prizes and I didn't win, but the best of all I had lots of friends who enjoyed MD'ing too! That means a lot to have a hobby that others like also! I only started scanning pics of my coins in 2000 when I bought my first Computer with the Mellinual Edition (ME) and then I purchased my new one, as I goofed and corrupted two C Discs in the old one! I like Windows Vista now that I'm learning more and more, but still forget if I don't do something often enough to remember! :shrug:

I also have a Digital Camera that I finally learned how to use, too, but don't use it very often, as I don't go out very much any more to use it! Love ya all and glad to have you as my brothers and sisters in Christ! Christian friends are the best! Amen! :angel: God Bless! Betty
