Here are two foriegn coins I dug at the site of last years forum hunt.
I got them on the same day this spring. It is the only time I have hunted there this year.
An 1880 Canadian silver dime, and a 1944 2 francs coin.

The Franc coin sure has lots of relief yet. I have all my good tokens in the safe deposit and just a can of foreign coins. Steve

by going along the border and detecting where the illegal aliens crawl under the fences....just kidding Steve. Great finds.
We used to get a lot of Canadian coins....before they closed our border with them...too much of a hassle to come here from Canada or for us to go to Canada so lots fewer Canadian coins to be found here.
