Opening hunt with the 6.5 X 8. Coil.

Been saving this park for a turn down in the weather. ( No one around) So hunted around two outdoor basketball courts. Contacts all over. The little coil sure was picking it's way through alum and a area littered with pennies. Musta been a penny convention. Got to hunt a non stop 2 hours before a cold shower moved in hard. $4.89 in change, a ring (looks to be copper)
I'll be going back to that area because there might be something good mixed up with all them pennies. One good thing about the coil it picked out 9 nickels hiding in that mess. Oh, that was 49 pennies out of 72 coins. There's no way I could've hunted it very well with the Trusty standard coil. Any way not a bad first hunt for the new 6 x 8
