I would be curious as to the things Deus owners do NOT like about these detectors. (C'mon, there must be something).

Just that it keeps NAGing me to go out and hunt...

The only CON I can think of is target ID accuracy at depth. Like 99% of the detectors out there after about 6" the target ID becomes less reliable. The only exception I can think of is the E-Trac/CTX. If the Deus had the same target ID accuracy at depth as the E-Trac/CTX that would be my only detector period.

Minor nitpicking here. I'm not a fan of the x y screen but that's just personal preference. If I could run 4kh in tx2 instead of being locked in tx3 , I'd be a happy camper.

Little bigger screen would be nice, maybe even color. I know a lot of people don't even use the screen and go by tones but I like checking a couple different numbers while I'm detecting. I don't get out often enough to memorize tones and seeing the x/y screen and a number helps me.

I love the hot program but I don't like that it defaults to the xy screen in V4. I like the xy screen but you have to switch to another program to get an idea of depth. Also when you set up a modified program to the deep program the xy screen does not carry over like it does with the hot program and you apparently cannot access it like you could in V3.

Not necessarily a con but would like to see a smaller coil like maybe an elliptical 3X6 concentric or DD. This maybe possible one day? Other than that for now...it is a pretty sweet set-up. HH

low hrs on the clock for me but deep round iron sounds nice and deep flat what ever aluminium mostly and some bigger bits of aluminium sound nice too with time I guess I figure those out and some setting changes if anyone has a good deep program I am all eyes

other than that nothing it sure is going to be worth getting to know from early testing.
