For your Infinium users out there, I'm getting ready to buy an Infinium and wanted to get some opinions on optional search coils and how good the stock shaft is. Looking at the Garrett 8" mono and the Garrett 5 x 10. Of the two, which one would you recommend. Are there others that I should be looking at? Also, how is the balance on the stock shaft? Is it worth getting an after market shaft? I purchased a Plugger shaft for my Excal II and really like it.
Will be using the Infinium mostly for water/beach hunting and relic hunting here in Virginia.
