I'm in the USA and where I live public parks and public school yards are fine to detect without permission. I use Pitch 2 for hunting areas with play structures that have bark, pine straw, sand or gravel surfaces, in sand volleyball courts and freshwater swim beaches searching for micro jewelry using the FMF coils and the HF2 coil. It will hit hard on any viable target from barely visible/detectable with some pinpointers to normal coin sized targets.
I also use Pitch 2 for getting characteristic solid hits on deeper coin sized targets when multi tone setups are giving too many different tonal responses or when a possible good deep target just sounds really iffy but has decent numbers. If it stays iffy after switching to Pitch 2 I move on usually. If Pitch 2 eliminates the iffy nature of the audio and the numbers are good enough, I'm digging.
I also use Pitch 2 with the HF2 coil sometimes for gold prospecting in soil conditions that are not too iron mineralized and have a reasonable amount of hot rocks. Pitch 2 with the HF2 coil will really hit hard on sub 0.1 gram to 0.01 gram targets.
If the ground is too iron mineralized and full of hot rocks, Pitch 2 can be extremely noisy and a nightmare.
It can also be a nightmare in areas that are packed with micro sized trash targets.
If someone can help me figure out a good way to use the morph/stereo audio where I detect, I would be grateful.
