Optimal Settings on Explorer SE? :shrug:

Does anyone know what the optimal settings are on the SE for optimal depth for the standard coil that comes with the detector?

depends on the soil. For moderate/normal soils, I go about 2/3 the way up the sens. level. Don't make the mistake of "maxing out" to the peak sens. setting. Or else you'll just start getting blarring confusing chatter and poor ID's off everything.
