I ordered the delta today upgraded from the bounty hunter qd II any recommendations hunting in southern Ohio sandy soil

You will love the improvement over the QD2 which is similar to my Pioneer 505 so I know what I'm talking about. Prepare for a new dimension of metal detecting, one that you will thoroughly enjoy if you take the time to learn the detector, which won't take long. There are older posts on here that you can check out too, if you haven't already done that. Enjoy your new Delta!

I'm very happy with my Delta. It's a very capable machine. I got mine late in the season last year, but in the last three weeks I've found several silver coins AND just two days ago a nice 14k gold earing (with diamonds - that were fake) . You will need to practice with it, but know that as the time goes you will get better and better. Just be patient - learn its' language and the Delta will easily pay for itself and then some. It's the Alpha 2000 is the most under rated (non Ground balance detector of the year) And the delta I would hate to see what that would do. Wow !!!
