Our Daily Bread for Friday, January 27, 2012

You always learn something, This is one of my favorite hyms and glad I found out where it came from and know the words mean a lot more now.

Another good post mate, thanks.

I love that Hymn and, if you come to my funeral, it is one that you will be able to sing.

I am not sure of my funeral date just yet, but I suppose I won't be able to let you know anyway!

I love every verse of that hymn, but my favourite verse is

Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked, come to thee for dress;
Helpless, look to thee for grace;
Foul, I to the fountain fly;
Wash me, Saviour, or I die.
