Hi Guys,
Since I've nuthin' to show in the way of pics thought I'd give you an idea how we're doin'.
Bearing in mind winter is a hard time to get lifts on our dry sand beaches, it's usually so cold there's not
many folk to replenish it, can't wait for some heat.
Anyway our total for the quarter is

Sounds that your on the roll for lots more this year.

Nice total. I didn't know we were posting finds by the quarter. I'm all over it.

We think the increase is due to using our new sand scoops from Jan 1st.
I'd say they were well worth the money and we're very optimistic about the rest of the year.

Well, awhitster I thought it would make a nice change.

I'm keeping a running total in my signature, see below:

Good going Ian. I am going to tumble and turn my clad dimes and quarters in on a monthly basis. I did mine yesterday and with yesterdays and todays hunts I actually ended up with an extra roll of dimes for April. I hoard nickels and copper cents because they actually contain more value in metals than in their face value. While it is not legal to scrap them at this time, some day when the mint decides it no longer wants them in circulation it will become legal again. I'm still trying to decide what to do with my zinc cents. Only about $7.00 at this time (lifetime.) I may sent the really junky ones to Awhistler!

I can safely say I will NOT hunt tomorrow so my 1st Qtr total is $147.18. Not quite up to your high standard but I'll take it.

Chris
