Ousting on the F 75 and upgrade

John 69

New member
I have a one of the first f 75's made. I have seen people take about upgrade on it. Can you tell me if it is worth doing and what would it cost. Thanks.

I'd keep your original F75 as is...
You can get a used DST version for a bit more than the cost of upgrading yours...
My two cents worth...

Robert

I would contact the factory in El Paso and see what the costs would be with or without the transferable warranty. You will end up with a new 75se with DST and cache and boost mode if you wish.

Here is the link for the upgrade to Fisher Research Labs:

i have the camo version i updated. Its working well, although i dont recall paying 300 for the upgrade. Maybe half that. I will say this though, i was impressed that the upgrade went beyond the software. They also replaced and refurbished a lot of things on my machine. Like a big rebuild. And as i was happy with it to begin with, it is still my go to machine. It is amazing , the beating that thing has take in the thick woods. Good Hunts CO

The $309 pricetag is for the original F75... One that didn't start life with the Boost and Cache Mode...

Don't get me wrong, I have a F75SE that I sent for the upgrade and I'm very pleased with the flame thrower I received...

oh i see. If i had an interest in another makers machine

Nothing in this post references another makers machine... The F75 (Camo, Se, and Ltd) all have the boost and cache modes configured and installed from Fisher Research Labs...

The original F75 doesn't have either... John 69 can have the Boost and Cache mode installed on his "Original F75" for the price listed at:

John, I believe you will find it is worth it. I've had three 75's, the regular camo model, a LTD and now the DST and each one was better then the last. Good luck and Happy New Year. And post some of your finds with your up-graded model. HH jim tn
