Great finds as always bud!!!:detecting:

Good hunt.
You certainly clean up on the gold jewellery. I only wish that I had bark chips to hunt. Almost non-existent in these parts. It looks like I'll be denied my Sydney trip this year, so I can't even hunt those spots.
Mick Evans.

Mick here's a tip i"ll probably regret passing on- retirement village's - as a whole old people wear & lose more gold than any other group of people !!!. & they don't drop as much junk. so if you"v got one near by ask to hit it. of all the lost gold story's i"v heard of it"s about 3 oldies to 1 middle-young age person who has lost gold.
so there ya go go find some gold

Retirement villages, eh? Would've thunkit?

just tell em your using a weed whacker they wouldn't know the difference & when your digging a target just say your digging up those nasty little prickle plants that grow in lawns & don't forget to remind them you have to get the roots to otherwise they"ll grow back :heh: that should keep them oldies off your back long enough to loot the gold from there nicely manicured lawns :detecting:

Great job! $22.60 in just 32 coins! If I dig 32 coins I'm lucky if it add up to 50 cents.
Aint that the truth!!
He's in Oz, with no paper dollars and lots of big denomination coins. That's the US equivalent of $14.1971 USD

Still pretty darned fantastic!

I don't think in 25 years of hunting I have dug $14.00 of coins in any one outing. This is face value that is. I believe my best coin day was digging three SL Halves all dated 1943 plus one Franklin Half dated 1952 under two trees in the same yard.

i feel sorry for you guys in the USA about not having $2 coins & your $1 coins not being used regularly it really adds up at the end of the hunt.
years ago in new zealand we had a big storm come through the town i lived in that ripped up the local beach for the first time in 15 years needles to say i had a sick day from work & was down there at first light there were coins every were mostly within the first 2 inch all up i found around $35 it was mostly in 5c-10c & 20c pieces this was just before the $1-$2 dollar coins were being used at the end of the day i could Berle stand & i had a bruise on my shoulder from all the coins & sinkers in the old army bag i used at that time so i know the pain of not having $1 $2 coins.
this was the most coins i"v ever found in one day & i really don"t think i"m going to beat it any time soon.
i also found a nice old brass Harley belt buckle that i still wear it"s nice having a memento of a great detecting day.
sorry about the rambling
