I took out my new outlaw and my new cleansweep coil today and had the best hunt. I was out for 2.5 hrs. I ended up with 18 quarters, 12 dimes, 14 nickels.and a bunch of pennys. Never have I dug this much clad in one hunt . Also got a 1936 weat penny. And a gold plated ring. And a gold plated chain necklace. Also got a swiss army knife. A few other junk jewelry. And I dug 10 coin spills all time high for spills. And I got 3 SILVER items. I got a nice 925 lady's ring that my wife promptly took off my hands. A verry cool jesus medallion STERLING SILVER. And a large 925 hoop earing. This coil and detector is great and its going to get the gold if I put the coil over some. I dug verry little trash as well id say about half as much as I usually dig in that time frame. Im in love and I would recommend this setup to anyone.

You are the first to report this type of smooth success. So many different items found!.I was just saying this morning on the other post that it is going to come out about this detector.Spellman buy you finding so much in that short of period is a sign you really took to this detector.Every one that has tested this detector said this detector will be awesome for jewelry.Tesoro claims extra sensitivity to small targets when it came out,and everyone with a outlaw is noticing this. But it's strange because of the 10 khz.But if you think about it 10 is mid freq. The main design range is 1-20khz.We may find the 10 to be perfect.I would say you had a great hunt, and you for sure seem to have faith in that combo.WTG!!!! :wiggle:

Yeah im loving it and I haven't even learned it yet. This was my first real hunt with it. I just got it yesterday and I played with it for about 40 mins yesterday just to test it out. Im really enjoying the new tone of this compared to my vaquero. You can easily tell good targets from bad ones just by the tones. I set my disc under foil and dig everything that makes a good repeatable tone. Its working great.

What is this clean sweep coil I been hearing about? And how is the outlaw different than any other 10khz Tesoro?

Happy I read this. I am really liking what I am hearing about this machine. I plan on making it my next one.

Great post.

The clean sweep is a 18"x2"DD specialty coil.On the second question i would like to know this myself. If you look at the add it states higher sensitivity to small targets.Something like that.I would like to know the differents to.

Nice going! You need to limit your time with that combination or you'll run out of targets to dig in your area.

I think alot of people wher like me , I seen the outlaw and began to mock it , but after looking ito it I kinda woke up and said hay this is a nice machine, I have only taken mine out one time and i dug no foil , and found a few coins on the snow sliding hill, and I cant tell you what it may do in the soccer feild but i have a fealing this detector is going to really do well, and in my gravle barr, clean sweep is my next coil ,

The cleansweep is no joke. You are also not hampered by digging deeper targets - which, good or bad, take more time and effort to recover. There is also fewer iffy targets that require analysis - as you said, if it doesn't sound solid, move on.

I have to agree. The more i use the Outlaw the more I like it.
Lately I have been skimming the local kid's tobogganing hill. Still can't believe how much change they carry around (and spill). Not sure about water but I can say the Outlaw doesn't seem to mind snow.

Is the target seperation any good with that clean sweep???

Side to side yes but its 18" long so it is not good for trashy areas unless you want to dig everything .
