Outlaw, how deep does it go?

The Magician

New member
I'm contemplating getting an Outlaw, I have a Golden and a Compadre and I like them both. My Golden gets alright depth I guess, I don't have much of a point of reference though. I have also thought about the Cibola, but you can't get large round coils for it.

Can anyone comment on the in-ground depth of the Outlaw, say on a quarter? I'm not from the U.S so I only have a quarter, dime and a 1 cent coin. I can test them as well to compare, preferably a quarter. Park dirt shouldn't differ that much if it's deep, that would give more accurate comparisons. I have GB on mine as well.

And or if someone has both the Outlaw and the Golden...

My Outlaw gets darn good depth..with the 8inch by me im hitting dimes around the 6-7 inch range. Now I bet them dimes would have came through at 8 if they were that deep but did not test it to compare since I just purchased the Outlaw. Now what I really need is a Golden with my outlaw coils since they are interchangable. I really miss the tones feature..and I only really coin hunt.
