Overdue introduction, sorry it was so long getting done, Hello everyone!

I have enjoyed the friendly converstation in this forum for a few weeks now, but I got scolded by my better half. She instructed that I am too new for being so forward with some of my posting and she is probably correct. I enjoy life, laughter, and friendship and believe this is a community an individual can capture a good portion of that combination. My nature is extrovert so if I seem to have taken liberty joking around, forgive me, I sincerely apologize. The feared newbie syndrome I guess. I have also placed a mugshot of the wife and I in profile. It is my wish to become part of this community of friends. Below is a snapshot of my children and I hope to share more family photos as time proceeds.
 
I am having trouble getting a picture of my daughters loaded. I will get it done sooner or later for those interested.
 
Many of us have been together for almost 10 years :yikes: Most of us have passed the stage of wanting or needing to know every technical aspect of a metal detector. Thats why we are the "Friends and Finds" forum. You are more than welcome here and you have no reason to apologize for anything...(unless you post stuff like Ed ;) ) I wish more people who lurk would post. I have friends who will email me about things on this forum but don't feel comfortable posting :shrug: Welcome again and post away :D
 
EV, yes but long gone :lol: we do a lot of celebrating around our house. Think one is in the mixin at the moment. :thumbup:

Ralph it was fun having all the girls, it doesn't take a Saint to have fun :cheers:. I have been called a lot of things but Saint is not one of them :lol:. Thanks, that helps tip the list toward a more favorable position, still have along way to go though. :thumbup:
 
Todd, you are right, Vern and I have much in common. Just wish I had some of his artistic ability with paint brush. Thanks for the Welcome!

Todd, I was born in Iowa, graduated HS in Missouri and lived in Illinois since my 19 month military stint. The folks had moved here while I was in Nam. My father was a railroad agent and travled frequently.
 
You have a great looking family. Just jump in anytime. But , just to help you out alittle. Don't show food on the forum. Genaral Ray will be at your door before you know it :D He is a great Guy but he can do some eating :D :lol: :lol: again, welcome to the forum :clap:
