Oxen nose ring ? texan toy gun

I went back out after work yesterday to the old cellar hole, but ventured off far away from it. Trying to find a different area to concentrate on. My first target I was able to get a good reading on was this Ring. I think it a nose ring for a Ox but not sure. Neat find otherwise. Then about a half hour later another good signal. Up comes the toy gun. Its a texan. My dads eyes lit up when I showed him after my hunt. No buttons or coins on this hunt but there is always today and tomorrow. HH Tim.
