It was supposed to rain this afternoon so I decided to go play in the dirt before the storm. Never happened as it turned out.
Worked some terraces near my house. On the way over a guy came outside and asked if I ever found anything. He said he and his brother detected and showed me his bounty hunter detector. Then went back in and brought out a 1921-D silver dollar he had found a couple of blocks away. I have still never found a silver dollar, bloody beginner's luck.
Anyways, found a couple terraces that didn't seem to be hit too hard. Not virgin, every hit was at least a little iffy but the explorer sniffed them out. Power lines kept sensitivity in high teens so I'm guessing there is probably a couple seated in there that I couldn't get to.
I think this is the first time I've found two Barber Quarters in one day- 1896, and 1899-O. Buffalo nickel is in real nice shape.
