Last Sunday I used my ATX for the first time at a old park and scored a 1906- s barber dime at 6. Inches in a area I've hit many time until I wasn't digging up anything. The fowllowing day scored another barber dime 1912-s at 6 inches. How did I miss these? I believe it is the bad we have here in California which made my ctx miss these 2 coins. ATX will see through bad ground way better than a VLF detector. Gotta be patient and listen to faint signals. Didn't dig too much iron either.
