Part two of my Low Country Dig in SC.........

After the first day of diggin at the beach and an old park in GA, the next day found us at a very old plantation. There were slaves there in the old days, and union and confederate troops both were on the property during the Civil War. There were even Rev. war and War of 1812 stuff found.

Here is John, Dave, and Bruce getting ready to dig! It was about 17 degrees that morning! John posts here now and then. He and Bruce are members of our club here in MI. Dave is a friend that lives over near the east side of the state.

Here is Shawano checking the GPS, ther were 1,000 acres on the property. Then there is Steve from Indy. Notice the Iron Brigade patch on his hat. He is known as the General of the IB. On the right is my good buddy Greg from GA. I think he nearly froze to death!

Here is Mark from GA. He is a rooky to these hunts. Can ya tell he is from GA.

Came across this guy detecting in the woods. I had to get this shot of the two sets of antlers he found.
I seen several more antlers found, including one by me.

it was cold so you didn't see them there Rattle snakes :) Seen a few in that neighborhood . Make you go :yikes: when your not looking :lol: :lol: :lol: :wave:
 
they taste like chicken! :)
