Well I had to do it. I have been wanting to pick up and Excal but the wife said no dice until I downsized my collection of 6 detectors. So I decided that I would part with 2 of my 3 AT Pro's and one of my Fisher F2's. So far one AT Pro and the F2 sold...that was quick...about 4 hours after listing them locally I had a guy on the way to pick 2 machines up. Turns out he is a super nice guy just getting into metal detecting and has a 7 year old son. So an AT Pro and a F2 should be a great setup for them....I know it has been for me and my 7 year old son. I am planning on meeting with him and showing him everything I know about running the AT Pro...and go on some hunts. One of my trusty babies went to a new home tonight...she brought me alot of joy and now will bring the thrill and joy to a new person just starting out in this great hobby. Great night...made alittle $$ toward a new machine and met a new hunting buddy. I showed him all the stuff I have found with the AT Pro in just the last month and a half....boy was he eager to get learning the new machine and get out hunting!! Heck...I think if it would not have been after midnight and storming out....we probably would have hit the beach tonight
