Passing of a treasure hunter

This morning a great friend and treasure hunter Thomas Brown passed away. He was on this site as the "Deleon Kid" and he was a good man. He taught me a lot about this hobby and we went to Biloxi, Destin, and the battlefields of Louisiana and many small parks. I met him in a Treasure Hunting club and we became friends from years of digging, fishing and camping. I lost a good buddy today. I never would have met him if it wasn't for joining a local club. He truly loved this site.

Hi Rick, I'm sorry for your loss! I understand fully how you feel! I lost one of my best friends ever, a couple of years ago! I think maybe Digging Buddies are unique in that in our experiences together bond us in many ways not so common to other friendships. It's probably not fair for me to say that but I have found that to be true with my friendships over the years. I only have a couple of Digging Buddies left and our digs together are fewer and fewer, but I know that all in all our memories of those digs and our friendships will be the best of our lives! ' I'll pray for you! HH , Charlie
