Past Weeks Finds

Made a couple visits to a favorite old spot and spent about six hours focusing on listening for those nickel sounds.

Managed to turn up a few keepers; a '39 Merc dime and a 1906 V Nickel (first old nickel with the new E-Trac) as well as some wheaties from the 20's and 30's and a couple corroded sales tax tokens.

The E-Trac continues to impress.

Neb,

Wish the tax tokens were worth something. About all they are good for is indicating that if anybody hunted the area before, they missed silver dimes. Hopefully some good tokens will turn up. We love trade tokens!

I often wish I could hunt back East and find all those large cents, Reale's, and colonial silver. :bouncy:

But, we make the most of wherever we are.

Good luck
