I was out at the beginning of the week before the rain and got the the standing quarter and the walking half at a 1860's house ( no old coins) I wasn't able to hunt there very long and hope to go back. I was able to get out at the end of the week and went back to the 1840's farm house that I was at last week. There I found thr rosie and the barber quarter. The quarter gave a really good signal and depth reading (7") , but when I dug it was off to the side of the hole. I usually get a piece of iron when this happens. I was lucky I didn't sratch it. I also got a few wheats and and a little clad.
The button is from another site. I have looked online to try and ID it, but I could not. Anyone have any knowledge on this one? Thanks for looking. HH, Dan
