Paying to Hunt, Is that crazy or what?

Found an old school house built 1920 that is now a community center. I asked the care taker if it would be OK to use my metal detector on the grounds ( allot of ground ) he said, with a long pause it would be OK if i were a member / supporter of the community center, so i agreed to pay the 25 dollar membership fee and next weekend i'll go and see whats there. Either way, its for a good cause. I don't mind supporting the efforts to give kids something to do besides run the streets. Membership also comes with a key to the building so i may use the facilities / not a bad thing when so far from home in a very rural area.

25 bucks is well spent like you said, who knows? You have a big area to hunt, and did not waste it on gas driving around looking for one.

In the Uk if you go to a rally you have to pay.At some weekend two day events that can be

Money well spent...for all the reasons above, and also, you dont need to be looking over your shoulder when you are detecting....peace of mind will help you find more HH
